Queen and King size "Sleigh" type beds tend to use rails that are for Standard Twin or Full size beds. These are for Standard Queen and King size beds, not "Sleigh" type beds. Industry Standard Hook-Plates - The industry-standard hook plates incorporated into both ends of the rails will probably fit any headboard/footboard manufactured within the last 40 years. It is also more stable a laminated rail will not warp or bow as a solid wood rail can. This process results in a wood rail which is much stronger than a solid wood rail. We finish it off with a polyurethane clear coat to protect the wood stain. Our wood bed rails are made from a 7/8 inch plywood core with a veneer finish. We recommend using our tubular steel center supports for a fix it and forget it project! The wood slat bearer will accommodate either wood or metal slats. If you require a perfect match, order the unfinished bed rails, and work with your paint store to select the right stain.
